finished object: perfect knit t-shirt

I wasn’t comfortable calling myself a garment knitter until I knit something I actually wear. (I knit one lone sweater several years ago, but I don’t find it especially well done or flattering so it’s never seen the light of day.)

NOW

FINALLY

I am a garment knitter.

Perfect Knit T-Shirt by Kaitlin Barthold / Originally Lovely.
A simple and classic raglan style t-shirt with a shaped neckline and slightly relaxed fit. I knit this in Lion Brand Coboo in colorway 135 / Terracotta. It’s a super comfortable and soft fabric with nice drape and I’m so happy with it that I purchased more Coboo in a neutral colorway to knit a second one at some point.

maker space: finished! christmas 2024 socks

I should feel sheepish that I’m posting my finished Christmas socks a month after Christmas. But for me, this is actually fairly timely as I think I once finished Christmas knitting in March. Progress not perfection!

These are a mashup of the Vanilla Socks on 9 inch Circulars basic pattern from Kayla Litton and the Summer Camp Socks by Jill Zielinski. Main color is West Yorkshire Spinners Sparkle “Yuletide” and heels, toes, and cuffs are WYS “Evergreen”. I usually do 64 stitches on US 0 (2mm) needles.
